This month, we’re shining a light on ISpy Nits, a Kiwi company turning a common parenting challenge into a fun, stigma-free solution.

The idea came from founder Kate Ricketts and her own experience:

“My neurodiverse child really struggled with the long, clinical lice-removal process. I wanted to create something that removed the stress - not add to it.”

Kate’s fluorescent Glo-Powder system lets families spot lice eggs under UV light, transforming a stressful chore into a hands-on science adventure. Since launching in New Zealand schools and online, ISpy Nits has become registered with Medsafe, TGA (Australia), and this month with the FDA (USA).
